CAP Solution Design Contest 2025 – HKUSPACE x CITYRAY

In the past summer, Cityray Technology was honored to collaborate with HKU SPACE to host the 2nd CAP Solution Design Contest. This event aimed to encourage young talents to use digital technology to create diverse application scenarios and design innovative digital transformation solutions that address various business needs through flexible digital platforms. Through this competition, we hope to inspire young talents’ passion for digital technology, promote creative thinking, and drive the practice and innovation of digital transformation.

The event included a two-and-a-half-day bootcamp, where our technical director taught students about the applications and principles of CAP. After mastering the usage techniques with ease, students were already able to create beautiful dashboards and electronic forms on the first day, combining both to form a simple system for collecting data and displaying it on dashboards. The students further unleashed their limitless creativity, successfully creating various applications using CAP, which we will introduce in a series of posts.

🌟About CAP🌟

CAP is a system developed by Cityray Technology that focuses on data analysis and digital transformation, aimed at helping businesses more easily implement digital transformation by digitizing daily operational workflows, facilitating cross-regional collaboration among people, managing operational data, and conducting data analysis. It can easily generate various reports and clearly present the operational status of the business through data visualization, as well as provide survey tools that allow users to design diverse questionnaires for convenient data collection.

Work 1: Accessible Service Feedback and Support Platform

The first project was created by student Chan on the CAP platform, designed as an accessible service feedback and support platform aimed at providing a simple, safe, and efficient feedback channel for persons with disabilities (PwDs), caregivers, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). When persons with disabilities and caregivers encounter inconvenient facilities, they can scan the posted QR code with their mobile phones and fill out an electronic form to provide feedback. The relevant departments or management offices can then collect opinions for follow-up. This platform addresses the pain points of the lack of convenient feedback and secure reporting systems, featuring an intuitive reporting mechanism, real-time alerts for support teams, a data visualization dashboard, and role-based access management to ensure user privacy and security.
