Cityray has been awarded the Social Capital Builder Awards by the Labour and Welfare Bureau for two consecutive terms. The biennial Social Capital Builder Awards Presentation Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on December 18, 2018, attracting more than 500 people to attend.

The biennial event of the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) Forum has the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Hong Kong Medical Association as supporting organizations this year.

The theme of this year’s forum is “Social Capital as a Solution”, which was officiated by the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr LAW Chi-kwong. Dr LAW, Dr Lam Ching-choi, Chairman of the CIIF Committee, and Mr CHUA Hoi-wai, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, attended the plenary session and exchanged views on how to link all various sectors to build a better community.

In addition to the plenary session, speakers from the CIIF Committee, SC.Net, and representatives from the social welfare, business, medical, education, and academic sectors, respectively attended six concurrent discussions to share experiences and explore different cross-sector collaboration models.

The forum also set up an exhibition with 17 CIIF-funded project teams to introduce and showcase the achievements of the social capital development project to the participants. The final part was the Social Capital Builder Awards Presentation Ceremony. The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr CHEUNG Kin-chung, GBS, JP, officiated the ceremony to commend the outstanding CIIF projects, partners, organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the social capital building.

The number of projects that won the Outstanding Social Capital Project Awards has increased from three in the previous term to six. The number of companies and institutions that was presented with the Social Capital Builder Awards has reached 551, an increase of nearly 70% over the previous term. The remarkable increase in enterprises and institutions winning the Awards this year proves that the concept and effectiveness of social capital have been gradually recognized by all sectors of society.

Cityray榮獲2018社會資本動力獎

CITYRAY連續兩屆榮獲由勞工及福利局頒發的社會資本動力獎。 兩年一度的社會資本動力獎頒獎典禮，今屆於 2018年 12月18日在灣仔會展中心舉行，吸引逾500人出席。論壇維基金兩年一度的盛事，今年得到香港中華總商會、香港中華廠商聯合會、香港工業總會、香港社會服務聯會、香港總商會、香港中小型企業總商會及香港醫學會作為支持機構。

今年論壇的主題為「 社會資本社區良方」，由勞工及福利局局長羅致光博士主禮。 羅致光博士出席專題論壇，與基金委員會主席林正財醫生及香港社會服務聯會行政總裁蔡海偉先生，一同就如何連結各方力量共建美好的社區交流意見。除專題論壇之外，由基金櫃員及社會資本摯友， 聯同社福、商業、醫療、教育及學術等界別代表分別出席六場專題討論，分享經驗及探討不同的跨界別協作模式。

論壇亦設有計劃博覽 17個基金資助計劃團隊，向參加者介紹及展示社會資本發展計劃的成果。壓軸環節為社會資本動力頒獎禮，由政務司司長張建宗先生GBS，JP 蒞臨主禮，表揚卓越基金計劃協作夥伴，以及對建立社會資本有重要貢獻的機構和人士。本年度獲社會資本卓越計劃獎的計劃,由上屆的三個增至今年的六個，而獲頒發社會資本動力標誌獎的企業 和機構達551間，數量較上一屆增加近七成。今屆有更多企業機構獲獎，再次證明社會資本的理念和成效已逐漸得到社會各界認同。
