Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Project Engineer at Cityray Technology in Hong Kong. As a Software Project Engineer, you will be earning precious experience by working with well-known corporate clients from retail, hotel, food and beverage, construction, professional and listed companies from various industries. You will also gain job fulfilment by overcoming technical challenges and team collaboration. Software Project Engineer is mainly responsible for technical work in project implementation for clients’ HR digital transformation with using Cityray systems (iHRPLUS, SaaSHRPLUS, CAP, etc). You will work as a team and perform including system installation, configuration, unit test, responding technical enquiry from the clients and solve problems. Besides, making corresponding documents for knowledge management and maintaining support tickets and work log are required.

• Fluent Cantonese speaking and located in Hong Kong are the must.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field. Lower educational background will also be considered.
• Less working experience will be considered. 2 years of experience is an advantage.
• Solid experience in MS SQL and good knowledge of the HK Employment Ordinance and payroll are great advantage.
• Strong systems engineering skills and technical support skills.
• Experience in troubleshooting abilities in computer systems issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn proactively and work independently.
• Willing to accept opinion and follow supervisor’s instruction.
• Willing to be responsible to maintain a smooth office operations.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work as a team, with the guidance of the project manager and senior manager, the candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Communicating the HR processes, HR ordinance and relevant HR requirements of multinational / listed corporate clients.
• Performing digital transformation support for the corporate client with our HR Tech solution. This is mainly including requirement analysis with the guidance of Business Analyst, solution provision, system installation and configuration, SQL database server setup, data conversion, software quality management, knowledge transfer to corporate users, professional technical document preparation, and technical support service in UAT and post-production.
